Now I've just seen youre clone posting here. You made the same in
comp.sys.mac.applications, but not eaven crossposted, just a clone:

So If Usenet II's goals are lowering the hassles..... why would you go
there? You'd probably be the first to get banned there. I mean Usenet
II prohibits extensive crossposting. But cloneposting, this is eaven
worse.

That is generally called multi-posting, and whereas cross-posting is
occasionally appropriate, multi-posting is never justified. The post was
also off-topic in both groups but curiosity got the better of me and I
consulted Wikipedia, from which:

There are a number of Usenet II hosts still operating, but traffic is
largely limited to FAQ postings. The effort to extend Usenet II was
abandoned as technical means to fight spam and other abuse on
traditional Usenet became more effective and spammers migrated from
Usenet to email.
