Is there any way to make the Panther Finder treat FTP volumes as
read-write? I've tried all I can think of and it just isn't
happening. This is a feature that Windows 98 has fa' Pete's
sake!!

That's not the Panther Finder.

Gotta use a third party FTP app to write to FTP volumes using the GUI.
Not possible with the Finder. Right now I use rBrowserLite which I'm
happy with.
