Removable Drive

I probably recall this incorrectly, but I thought I'd check. I have a HD
(hard drive) on C: and a removable HD on D:. If I make the C-drive master
with the jumper (Western Digital Caviar), and the D-drive slave, it all
works fine when the D-drive is plugged in via the removable enclosure. If I
remove it (before boot), then the C-drive isn't recognized. I thought I had
this figured out one time with jumpers so that when I pulled out D (the
whole removable unit) that it would still detect c properly.

WD drives have different jumper setting for Master & Master with Slave
present
