Replacing Toshiba Portage 3110 screen

The screen on my Portege 3110 is cracked and needs replacing. Can I use
another brands screen, or even a generic brand, or does it have to be an
official Toshiba replacement part???

I think it has to be a Toshiba LTM10C348 screen. It's one of the few Toshes
to have a screen made by them as well. .

What Authorised repair centre do you work for then Richard?

Didn't think you would still be up, Lee. You would have known the part
number off by heart ;-) Somehow I don't think my "repair centre" would get
authorised but we've had plenty of happy customers.
BTW I take it the 3020 screen isn't an option here as I have one of those?
