Return of PS/2 sockets on new DELL systems!

I've just installed a couple of new DELL Vostro 220 minitowers, and to my
surprise when I connected the leads to the back of the unit there were the
old green and mauve, mouse and keyboard PS/2 sockets. the supplied keyboard
and mouse were USB of course.

In fact there was even an old serial socket as well.

Is DELL going backwards now?

Was this manufactured in Poland already?

Are they going to supply the old peripherals again?

Have they switch motherboard suppliers?

Strange but true...

The Vostro is a business machine. Backword compatibility for the corporate
