Saving web content to OneNote

Hey Tablet geeks:

I'm still looking for a reliable (preserves HTML formatting) and efficient
(storage- and effort-wise) way to save web content to OneNote so I can
annotate stuff as I read it. I've tried several different approaches so far
but none of them seem optimal, see http://tinyurl.com/mtuwj for details. If
anyone here has any insight into how to do it better, please share your
ideas on this. Thanks!!

Other than the PDF approach, have you downloaded and installed the Microsoft
Experience Pack for Tablet PC
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en)
which includes the improved Snipping Tool? Very easy to grab web content
and then place it in OneNote, send it via email, etc.

I might point out the Experience Pack is exclusively for the English-based
operating system on Tablet PCs. The Microsoft Enhancement Pack for Tablet
PC
(http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...k/default.mspx)
includes the Snipping Tool for those Tablets running Chinese (Simplified and
Traditional), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish.

Hi Chris, the Snipping Tool is great but it won't meet my particular need,
see second comment at http://tinyurl.com/p746a for reason.

Yes, but you can use it to snip the full screen (including any "unscrolled"
area), paste into OneNote and then go gather the subsequent screens you need
as part of the same section in OneNote.

Two words for you... Snag It. Quite possibly the best shareware product
ever. See the following screen shot for an example of how it can capture
long scrolling windows. You can do all sorts of cool custom outputs which
I'm sure is possible to go directly into OneNote but it's also just as easy
to send the output to the clipboard which you could then paste in OneNote.

Ha! Sorry guess that should have said "one word for you". It's SnagIt, not
Snag It and that explains why there's nothing relevant in my search results.
