Hello,

We used to have a HP LaserJet 4100 mfp at work, of which we used all
the possibilities: Print, Copy, Scan & Fax.
With the Scan option it was possible to configure an LDAP server, and
to email your scanned document to one of our users.
With the fact that the printer was resided at a central location, and
used for several people, on several floors, this was a handy option.

A few weeks back, our HP LaserJet 4100 mfp was broken (Bad HD), and no
possibility to replace it.
So therefor, we bought the HP LaserJet 3390, since it has the same
options as the 4100 mfp.

We noticed that it isn't possible anymore to configure the scanner to
scan to an email address, without connecting a computer.
Somebody has any thoughts about this? Is there another printer that we
can use, that provides the same options as the 4100mfp?

Greetz,
Tim @ Allgeier
