Well what did you expect? Semprons require a 166MHz FSB to run at default
speeds. To get the most out of a Sempron 2200+ you'd need a FSB of 266MHz
(real clock speed) 9x266=2400MHz. That's one reason (but not the only one)
socket A Semprons suck. See Sempron in link below. A Sempron 2200
(1500MHz) is about equal to an Athlon XP 1800+ (1533MHz).
