Just an update.
I have OS 8.6 and 9.04 running fine on my Intel MacBook.
I was having a problem with sound in OS9 but I reinstalled the system
from the disk and that corrected it.
I have 2 images mounted- one with 8 and the other with 9. I was not able
to use the Startup Disk control panel to choose which to boot from
although either did boot.
But switching to a different ROM file which I harvested from my G3/233
cured that problem. I use 8.6 since it boots in 8 seconds vs. 9.04 which
takes 18 seconds to boot. But I am still playing with both to see if 9
has any advantages.
