this Sandra's Diagnostic reading is correct or wrong.

SiSoftware Sandra Temperature Sensor(s) for
CPU Temperature : 55.00°C td seems to be corret reading.

However reading of Logical/Chipset Memory Banks
Bank 0 : 512MB DDR2 5-5-5-15 3-20-5-3 1T
Bank 0 Temperature : 106.00°C

Could this be wrong reading of temperature?

Acer works fine and it's not showing any overheating

Please respond to this quiry.

TIA
Harry

Most definitely Sandra's reading must be inaccurate.
Check with Sandra and the memory vendor, they
should have an environment data on this case.

Use also a different diagnostic tool, Lava's Everest, for example,
to check whether it shows similar temperature results. However,
you should have Vista compatible version for proper results
reading.

Yes, it almost certainly must be.

The problem is that some manufacturers don't properly implement the thermal
sensors, for doing so might cost them too much extra money. In some cases,
the sensors are just dead shorted or replaced with a component that returns
a fixed value. In the case of a dead short acrosss the contacts where a
sensor should be will result in an extremely high or low reading.
