SLI help needed picking 2nd graphics card for SLI

I am not sure about choosing a second nvidia graphics card to set up
SLI on my motherboard. I have an ASUS A8N-SLI Premium motherboard, and
an nvidia GeForce 7900 GT 256MB PCI express graphics card (XFX is the
brand of the boxed card). The problem is I need to buy an "identical"
second nvidia card but when I look on e.g. Newegg.com for the XFX
brand/distributor of nvidia GeForce 7900 GT there are several cards
listed, varying in clocked speed/overlocking and I do not recall the
clock speed of the card I bought, and I can not see where the is
displayed anywhere in the control panel system hardware, etc.

So, the question really is, for setting up SLI, how "identical" is
identical? If both cards are XFX branded 256MB nvidia GeForce 7900 GT
PCI express cards, is that enough of "identical" even if their internal
clock speeds on the graphics cards might vary somewhat? Or to the two
cards have to even match clock speeds onboard the graphics cards, for
SLI setup?

Any help or even opinion greatly appreciated.

The box your present card came in (you kept it, didn't you?) should have
the exact model number on it. Either that or the manual that came with
it.
