For anyone interested... the ThermalTake Sonic Tower K8N cooler isn't
compatible with the the Gigabyte K8N Pro SLI. The Sonic Tower requires a
back plate that has screw threads... but unfortunately Gigabyte provides a
cheapo one with plastic plungers.
In anycase, if you want to install the Sonic Tower on a GigaByte
motherboard, you'll need to purchase a backing plate with screw threads,
but they're hard to come by.
