Determine the brand of hard drive inside, and download the drive manufacturer's
diagnostic software. If the diagnostics indicate drive failure, replace the
drive. The fact that chkdsk found a lot of unreadable segments and orphans is a
strong indication that the hard drive has failed and needs replacement.
