Hi, I have a MA790FXT-UD5P mobo and I am trying to connect the SPDIF cable from a galaxy 285gtx graphics card on the mobo.
The Video card has a two pin socket and the cable that attaches to it consists of a red & white wire. The mobo header plug consist of a six pin lay out as sutch
1) Power .............. 2) no pin
3) spdif (out?)..........4)spdifi (in?)
5)Gnd ...............6)Grnd

Do I connecct the cable to the mobo header by No 1 & 3 pins or No 3 & 5 pins for an out put signal from the graphics card
Thans for any help on this
