I have a Dell XPS 1530 with Vista business installed.
I notice that the the build in volume control buttons are virtually
useless. pressing then has a very small effect on the volume and to
make a significant change I need to press for a very long time.
Does anyone know how it is possible to increase the volume step size
of these buttons?
Thanks

No that is not the case.
I actually see the bar that goes up and does
and it does that in very little steps.

the sound step is incremental the longer you hold the button down the larger
the steps

No I don't know. But I have been playing with Comfort Keys Pro and it does
that plus tons more. The step size is 10%, but you can change that too.
Displays a green bar on the screen when you change the volume. It is very
nice. Far better than what comes built in with my Gateways and Asus laptops.
