Sun Fire V100 LOM problem

I'm having problems getting serial connection to work between Ultra1 as
terminal and Fire V100 server. I get into lom> prompt, and with
'poweron' into ok prompt. The problem is "login:" keeps popping up
altough i've logged into LOM with user 'admin' with permission 'u' and
then the serial connection dies in 300s. I am rather new to Sun hardware
,especially LOM.
