I have a sun ULTRA 10 mini tower.. Looks like the MB is WSS200... at
least I can not find any other identifying marks on the MB.. Anyway.
The currently installed HD is a 60GB IDE..... Will this MB take a 120GB
133 IDE HD with the high density cables?

Sure,
I've managed to add 80Gb and 120Gb disks to
two Ultra 10, using the original cables.

BUT,
today I tried with a 200Gb disk. Doing the 'boot -r' the disk shows up
with
'corrupt label - wrong magic number' and a total of 255 cylinders
and holding only 508 Mb.
I've not yet found if the disk is damaged (was bought new, never
used)
or if there's something funny going on.
Will try to make a system definition of the disk as
next trial.

greetings.

The CMD chipset in the Ultra 5 and 10 doesn't support drives larger
than 137G, so you may see strange behaviour if you put in a larger
disk.
