No usb/parallel

I went back into bios and made sure these were enabled, but Im still
not getting any parallel port or usb. what else can i do to get these
to function?

In Windows ( which I'm assuming you're using ), go into Device Manager and
see if there are any conflicts or, if the drivers for these devices were not
properly installed.....
