I just purchased a Travel Mate 800LCI and it has everything I wanted in a
notebook, but I have a couple issues. 1) When on certain web pages Flash or Active scripting enabled, I hear a slight tone/beep from the speakers. I believe someone here described the sound as sort of a Morse code. Anyone know what maybe causing this and if it can be fixed with a bios update? If you want to hear the sound go to a quiet room and go to this web page. http://global.acer.com/ 2) I am trying to locate a place to purchase the internal blue tooth module that is suppose to be available as per the website (http://global.acer.com/products/notebook/invilink.htm), but nobody seems to know anything about it. I have called the American parts number and they say its not available yet. Can anyone verify they have the internal blue tooth module and where I can get it. I would rather have everything internal and not have to buy a separate card and waste slots. Other than these two things I am very happy with the notebook. thanks for any info Leto |
