In a quiet room you'll definetely hear them. In a server room you won't.

As far as heat goes... in a lab where I used to work that had constant
ventilation and temperature regulation, sitting with an Ultra80 on the floor
would warm my feet. The Ultra60 I had under my cubicle desk made my cube
*very* hot, but I also had four monitors which definetely contributed.

They will both definetely be hotter and louder than an Ultra10.
