Have a IBM thinkpad, there are some problems with the power connector,
want to open the back cover to have a look what is going on there; have taken all the srews off the back cover, but not sure where to pry to open the back cover. Any suggestions are welcome. |

It depends on the model, but here are a couple of general tips: pull
out the rubber bumpers on the display bezel and take those screws out, work your fingers between the bezel and the display panel to un-snap the bezel. When you get the bezel off you should be able to see what is holding the rest of the parts together. - James B () (sodrd8848) wrote in message news:<. com>... > Have a IBM thinkpad, there are some problems with the power connector, > want to open the back cover to have a look what is going on there; > have taken all the srews off the back cover, but not sure where to pry > to open the back cover.
