What the hell is Winkkbk.exe?

Hello,

In recent time, I've discovered a little file on my computer called
Winkkbk.exe that occasionally consumes 100% of my CPU usage. I've
tried searching for info on this particular file over the Internet,
only to receive no results. It's a Prefetch file, too, and I've tried
deleting it, only for it to return mysteriously. Does anyone know what
this file is, and possibly help me? Thanks.

Hi Otterland,

The first comment I would make is that it is difficult (possibly even
dangerous) to try to identify a file merely by its name. I suspect
this file is a copy of the Windows Klez virus family (hence WINK= WIN
Klez), scanning with an up to date anti-virus scanner will confirm
this.
