On Compaq Presario S4500NX, how to find the right driver for ethernet card

Hello,
I need the driver for my ethernet card.

I think Compaq uses a little bizzare setting for network card,
so I check their website to find the driver, but couldn't.

After checking the spec of my model, I found out that my ethernet card
was Realtek 8201BL, which, according to the information from the website,
does not require any driver.
But when I tried to install Windows 2000, it couldn't find the card.

I contacted Compaq through email, but they said they couldn't help on the
case where the user changed the operating system... whatever..

can you please help me set up the ethernet card?

I'm back on Win XP Home with the compaq recovery cd, but really want to
customize my desktop on my own.
