I just built a system on a 8RGA+.
CPU is the XP 2400 and two sticks of Crucial 256MB 32x64 PC 2100 DDR ram and using the onboard video. The manual shows two ways to install memory based on whether it be 64 bit or 128 bit. I am kindly unsure about which would be the correct way to install the above sticks. I currently have them installed per the chart for 128bit and it seems to be working fine. I looked on Crucial's web site but found no indication regarding the 64 vs. 128 bit issue. Is my install correct or should I switch them to the 64 bit configuration? Thanks for any insight on this issue Rick |

Generally best, I think, to use the two outer slots as these are on
separate memory controllers. I use 2&3 this enables dual channel and since you use onboard video it will
help a lot especially the video chip.
