Not to go drastically off topic, or to spark interneto-politico debate, but
this as you all probably know, is just another weird facet of tech evolving
faster than those who use it.

Since it's so cheap and easy to flood these forums with quadrillions of
worthless bits, they just play the odds that a pair of eyeballs can be
tricked by them for whatever, typically illegal, almost assuredly immoral,
purpose. Ultra-Fast delivery system, developmentally-slow people reading.

Karl, since you seem to have a clue and also seem to care, complain to your
ISP by email, or snail mail. They need to hear everyone's voice on this
issue. And yup, email your gov't rep, this is a hot topic right now,
actively being debated, and the more people that have their say, the better
chance of stopping this phenomenon before it gets even worse. It won't just
'go away'.
