Is anyone out there having problems with the K7N2-Delta in not booding
properly. When the computer needs to reboot, it will shut down and then just hang. I look on the LED's on the D-card signifying a MEmory/Memory Controller problem. I have tried different types of memory, as well as exchanging the motherboard itself. Once the computer boots it is fine. I am just wondering it this is a widespread problem, or if I am just having bad luck. |

Yes - same symptoms - and D-card signifies the same issue. I wasn't
sure where to start - as several things are new: K7N2 Delta-L, 1gig ram (2x512), xp2400 cpu, W.D. 80gb 7200. (Other parts were existing & verified, including 32mb 4x agp card). Once booted I'm fine, but when boot problem persists, then I remove 1 stick of ram and it comes right up. Occasionally, I can re-insert the 2nd 512 and it will boot and work ok. Some of the no-boots are partial boots. Win2k gets started and then bsod's with a different error each time. Not sure what to do - still toying with config. I haven't yet tried to update the bios. (btw - my mem is Kingston PC2700 333mhz). Any advice would be appreciated!! |

I posted previously with a problem on the k7n2 delta-L - appears
fixed!! I flashed the bios with 5.2 and it now seems to work fine! It was shipped with 5.1, which had a fix for my memory config, but I still had an apparent memory problem. The 5.2 update seemed to fix it, though it didn't appear (by their change notes) appear to address my memory issue.... go figure. |

Thanks for the tip. I flashed my bios with 5.2 and have reset the computer
multiple times with no problems. Spread the word! "B Parker" <> wrote in message news: om... > I posted previously with a problem on the k7n2 delta-L - appears > fixed!!
