Hi,
I am buying a shuttle mobo for a P4 Celeron 1.7. Trying to make an inexpensive system. I am looking at the Shuttle AB48PN and the AV49N. Both have what I am looking for namely, DDR, USB 2.0, around 5 PCI slots, and AGP 4X(at least). Does anyone have any comments on which one is better? Or, are both about the same. I usually try to go with Intel chipsets if the price is close. Or, could you give me another choice for a P4 inexpensive shuttle board? I have seen some P4 boards with SDRAM instead of DDR, but I think they would be pretty slow. Thanks a lot Tom |

Okay, I admit that I am experienced only with AMD, so maybe I'm misinterpreting something here, but from an AMD standpoint that's an incredible FSB rating. This board seems similar to the AK39N (for AMD)and that's a really great, stable board. |
