The PC health Status bios section shows the following temperatures:
1. CPU External temperature, normally about 35-39 C 2. Chassis temperature, normally about 30 C 3. CPU temperature on die, normally about 56-60 C The SOYO HW Monitor app shows the following: 1. CPU (that's all it says) normally about the same temp as the CPU external temp as shown in the bios. 2. Chassis temperature, normally about the same as the chassis bios temp. My questions: 1. In all the discussions about temperature in this NG, is it the CPU external temp or the CPU die temp? What's the difference? The external CPU temp seems very low and the Die temp seems high without the MB being stressed. Anyone shed any light on this? |

Die temp is your biggest worry. That's the temp gage in the cooling fan.
