I think you are mistaken. It doesn't need pairs. Also, lack of ECC isn't
the horror story you make out. A 100MHz bus CPU doesn't have to be paired with PC100 RAM, PC133 will work fine. Sorry, Chris KNOWS Little Try to read up before confusing others ********************************** "Chris Little" <> wrote in message news:MV_Za.86784$cF.27741@rwcrnsc53... If the memory isn't ECC god knows what problems you could have. You might see OS stability problems (i.e. Memory read errors), random reboots....maybe even slow performance. Memory problems cause so many diverse errors that its hard to write them down. also this board supports 133/100mhz FSB cpu's and RAM. I'd say its best to make sure the RAM & CPU mhz are in sync. i.e. an intel p3 933 (133fsb) should be paired with PC133 ECC ram. while a p3 800 (100fsb) should be paired with PC100 ECC ram. And of course you need pairs due to memory interleaving.... I'm sure you already know most of that though. "Boo" <> wrote in message news:... > I was handed a 370DLE system to fix.
