I'm a real cyber-moron, I'm afraid, but I hope someone may be able to help.
I have a HP DJ 940C and every time I try to print I receive an error message saying: "There was an error writing to LPT1 etc etc....the printer is not ready...check that is turned on etc etc" It IS turned on and connected.... I'd be really grateful for any help anyone could offer. best wishes Paul Bowden UK
