Chris,
Dell did agree to do the repair, but only on the basis that because their
mistake was on the web page and the ownership tranfer form went through to
International TAG transfer and not ownership transfer. The machine is now
officially registered to me but they just bulked as I could not tell them
the original owners company, maybe I could try a file recovery and see if I
can dig anything up.
I've pasted below the TAG transfer email recieved from Dell with the
nessesary details removed,
