Temp readings on a7n8x dlx

Hey pplz

Just wondering where this mobo takes its cpu temps from?

It gets it from the CPU Socket, if your wondering how to get the Core
temp aswell, use Motherboard Monitor.

Tried it already, kinda ****ed my comp, so not gonna use it, plus, it didnt
display the core temp, just case and socket temp.

From my experience with my A7N8X v2.00 (non-dlx), at full load the
socket is about 12C lower then the die temp, at idle about only about a
5C-6C difference. Asus Probe reads the socket temp, ya stupid I know!

Just tried it again, seems to be working properly now b4 it didnt find
any primary sensor, now it does. Cant get cpu diode temp. any sugestions?

Thx for that. I got downloaded the rar, and used that. before using the new
ini files, the only sensors that were selectable for the temp were asus1-4,
custom and none.

Despite having a different dashboard, it now shows my diode as 51degC,
socket at 46degC and case as 27degC.

I had problems with MBM, sometimes it won't select the diode, can't read
my chassis fan, and it makes a lot of games freeze for a flash of a
second which gets really annoying after awhile so I just use Asus probe
now. ;p
