We are using Lenovo X61 tabets running MS XP Tablet 2005 Edition SP3. We
have recently implimented Terminal Services on Server 2008 and are running
our application through the new Remote App feature.

We have run into an issue when attempting to insert handwriting into a text
field through the writing pad it does not insert the text, however, when
using the on-screen keyboard it does.

Any help would be appriciated.

Regards,
Brock

Search this group using google groups for the term "terminal server" as
this has been discussed here plus, if memory serves, you will find
reference to a knowledgebase article.

Beverly,
Thank you for the information, however, from what I can see most of these
posts were pre Server 2008, and I was hoping for a resolution by now.

When we used Terminal Services on Server 2003, and XP tablet the handwriting
would work, as long as we docked the writing pad, but once we moved to 2008,
the functionalilty was gone. I thought it might be a driver issue on the ts
server, but have not been able to solve it.

Thanks,
Brock

I have to believe that the foundation of the problem is the same...

just looked again and remembered that the base problem relates to
unicode input issues... one question from today's look/see would be the
tablet's sp level
