After a nightmare install from hell. I have traced the problem down.

Thanks to everyone that offered suggestions with my problems.
I suspected the mobo. Then the video card.
After sending both back for retesting they checked out good. So my
next suspect were the SATA controllers on the mobo.
After having the video card in long enough to have the problem re
appeared and nothing happened I again hooked up my SATA drives.
After plugging both drives in one at a time the mobo shut down again.
Well this story is getting too long. The bottom like is that while
plugging in my SATA drives the video card came unseated.
I have to use a little pressure to put the holding screw for the card
to the case. While plugging the SATA drives in that little force
pulled the card out lightly out of the slot at the opposite end.
My problem turn out again to be my most trouble. Me.
