Thanks for the warning.
I buy quite a bit of stuff from Newegg & Amazon, but always
comparison-check prices and will give Newegg the business if the
prices are equal within 1-2%. ( They have been an exceptionally
reliable supplier and on the only item that I have ever had to RMA,
and which was damaged at the manufacturer, they picked
up the return-shipment tab and sent me a replacement before
receiving the RMA item. ) Otherwise, I buy elsewhere if necessary...
so if Newegg has been doing that, then they have auto-screwed
themselves. And most of my Amazon purchases have been from
Amazon "3rd-parties"
