My laptop display would periodically go blank without any indication;
eventually the lcd just stopped displaying an imamge. I can, however, use the CRT.
Also, I can faintly see the Windows logo on the screen when booting. After doing
some research, I used the proper cleaner to remove any oxidation on
the connector for the inverter card. No Luck. I ordered a new inverter
card, which I'm waiting to be delivered. That being said, is there any
test to determine if it is the inverter card or a dead backlight.
