I want to replace a mobo that now had bad capacitors with a new Pent 4
board. I would like to slavage and keep the CPU [Athlon].

Is is cinpatible with the new board. New board is designed for Athlon
too, it says. May I expect ptorblems or willl this work?

I don't think that is possible?
P4:s and Athlons have different size & pinout don't match last time I
looked. What motherboard claims compatibility with both processor types?
