Compaq CQ56 Zif Ribbon Connections

    I am trying to reassemble my CQ56 Laptop and can't figure out how to connect the 3 Zif Ribbon connections. The small white connectors came off (or broke off?) when I removed the cables. Does the ribbon cable sit on top of the pins? Or down below the pins? How does the small white zif connector fit back on? Since they came off, are they broke? If they are broke I read another post where a piece of cardboard can hold the ribbon in place.


    ***never mind. I got them working now. They just push against the pins at a slight angle. Then slip the ribbon under the connector and flip the connector down flat. CQ56 working fine now with T6670 CPU upgrade.
