How to get 1680 x 1050 display on XP with an Acer 2016w???

    I have gone into Display Properties and Advanced. Will not allow me to click the default monitor properties to manually install .inf files that came with Acer. Can anyone help???

    Is there another driver that I need to install in XP???

    PS
    The larger monitor worked at my office PC with a new View Sonic.
