internal cabling on a Dell Inspiron 1100

I have a Dell Inspiron 1100. Its keyboard is connected directly to its
motherboard by a nonstandard PS 2 cable. The plug is male, has a 30 mm
by 4 mm head, and shows 25 plate-style pins. I need to plug a DIN 6
keyboard cable into the corresponding motherboard socket. Does anyone
know where to buy, or how to make, a proper cable convertor?
