Macbook Air crashes: Any ideas?

    Hi everyone,

My Macbook Air (running 10.7.2) has shut down twice for no apparent
reason in the past 20 minutes. This has never happened before. If anyone
has any thoughts about this, I'd greatly appreciate them.

I don't know if this matters, but both times the computer was unplugged,
though near fully charged. I've never had a problem (yet) when the
    computer is plugged in.

I don't know how to read Console logs. I'll post the logs below from the
times of the crashes, and if anyone sees anything valuable, that would
be great. The first shutdown happened at 1:25. The second one happened,
I think, at about 1:29 or 1:30. I get the same message about crashes at
    1:25:30.653 and 1:29:38.927

My main question is if this is a hardware or software issue. I'd been
thinking of doing a clean reinstall of Lion anyway, so if that will help
I'll be happy to do it.

Thanks very much for any help,
    ez

Thanks for the reply. It just happened again--once again, when the
computer was unplugged, after it had been working fine when it was
    plugged in for hours.

Earlier today, Apple tech support had me reset the SMC and PRAM, but
apparently that didn't do the trick.

Anyway, here's the system.log info you mentioned--sorry if this is too
much to look at. The shutdown happened at 9:23. Any insights would be
    greatly appreciated!

    Thanks very much,

I think you should take your system into an Apple Genius Bar and have
them look at it. This behavior looks like a hardware error which no
amount of OS tweaking will fix.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I'll do. After the last automatic
shutdown, the computer now says "Battery Is Not Charging," though the
light on the magsafe connector is green. Outside of that (for now), it
still works when it's plugged in.

I'll have to bring it to Apple, which is a bummer since I'm far from a
    store.

    Thanks for the help,
    ez

Thanks very much for taking a look. At least I know not to try to solve
this myself. I'll get back in touch with Apple today.
