mixing dual channel aram and single channel ram?????

    is it possible to have two pieces of ram running in dual channel and
    also having a single piece of ram on its own aswell??

    My guess is yes it will work but you will lose the speed benefit or having
    dual channel memory i.e. the speed will drop to the lowest common
    denominator
