    HI,
    I lost a BIOS password.
I remove the eeprom chip from motherboard (39SF040) and I write it with the
    last HP NX9010 bios.
When the notebook start the password remain the same.
I think there is another chip with stored the password data.
Anyone help me about this problem ?
    thanks

Contact HP, they have a reset utility. You will need to supply some
proof of ownership. Call HP at 1-800-HPINVENt
