I would like to install 4x1gig modules of pc-2100 corsair registered ram (cm72sd1024rlp-2100) into my Tyan Tiger MPX S2466N-4M m/b based workstation. I can install 3gig and run successfully but it will not post with 4gig - no beeps, bells or buzzers going off, just a blank screen.
    I am running 2xMP2600+ cpu's, the bios is version 4.05, 2 HDD's - WDC WD400BB-75FJA1 & FUJITSU MPD3064AT, WinXP Pro sp2, video card is ATI Radeon 9800PRO AGP, Swansmart 56K V92 modem and 2 realtek 10/100 ethernet cards, 430watt psu.
It states in my manual that to be able to run with 4gig of ram that a portion of the ram has to be reserved for PCI devices, but does not tell you how to do this, can anyone please tell me how to reserve this portion of ram so I can successfully run with 4gig.

    Thanks for any help.
