I am looking for some help with a problem I have. I have all my fans connected to the motherboard and I've split the yellow RPM cable to also sent the signal to a Kaze Master Flat LCD display. While this works great while the fans are spinning, both motherboard and LCD display show the RPM, when the fans stop, the FAN controller starts flashing and alarm ringing thinning the fan still receives power but it's not spinning. Do I need to add a transistor to cut the signal completely when the fan is no longer spinning, or is there a better solution?
