Which soundcard ? have very low distortions for fft measurements?

Discussion in 'Soundcards' started by Gaetan Mailloux, Sep 4, 2003.

  1. Hi

Which soundcard do have very low distortions (even at high frequencies)
    for fft distortions measurements ?

Even an old model that I can buy used.

My sinewave generator have only .001% distortion.

    Any hints, suggestions are welcome.

    Thank

    Bye

I really believe that is pushing the limitations of a soundcard more
than just a little bit. Many soundcards are capable of providing a
very limited fft spectral display, but to attempt using one to measure
distortion is a bit of a stretch of the imagination.
