Yes, of course it will. HL2 is made by a company that still relies on a lot
of people running TNT2 graphics cards...

We GF4 ti users will get DX8.0...that means that we won't get very
much supershading ...but will be able to play the game at acceptable
framerates.

We just get less Eye Candy but we keep a nice FPS.

Probably we have to set the settings of the game not on Full
though....but it surely is playable :-)
