Bad news for you, maybe. This god is an artifact, a human contrivance.
The platypus has been explained in terms of Natural Selection. No big
thing, except that a lot of folks seem to think that if they invoke a
make-believe god they can do any kind of bad stuff they want.
Platypuses, on the other hand, do not commit crimes in the name of a
god.
