Toshiba Sat 1100 & 1800 question

I've both 1800-series & 1100-series 14-inch TFT Toshiba Satellites,
with various problems.

Before I decide my approach with them, does anyone know whether the
1100-series 14 inch lcd panel is interchangeable with that the
1800-series ?

Contributions from the Toshiba-savvy would be greatly appreciated.
