Tyan 2696 Tempest Random shutdowns

Tyan 2696 Random shutdowns - seem to be power related -

Will stay up for 5 to 10 hours - then quick power off/failure
Have double checked that all board power connections are indeed EPS12V
Bios is current at 2696103A

Anyone care to share their “happy” BIOS settings for this board?

Hmmm, certainly sounds like a power problem. I have the same board
with two 5335 processors, 2 SATA 2 drives, 2 pata optical drives, 4
gigs of DDR2 buffered ram and running Windows XP Pro 64 and Vista 32
Ultimate and a beta version of Server 2008. I am using a Sparkle 550
Watt power supply in an Thermaltake VC8000 SWA case. Oh, same bios,
too.
Does it blue screen before shutting down?
